Privacy notice

This notice explains what happens to your data on this site. It is short because the site does very little: there is no tracking, no advertising, no analytics and no cookies.

Who is responsible

The calculators

Everything you type into a calculator stays in your browser. The figures are never sent to us and never leave your device — unless you decide to send them with an enquiry, as described below. Nothing is stored on your device either: close the page and the numbers are gone.

Server logs

This site is delivered by Netlify. Like any web server, Netlify records technical data when a page is requested: IP address, time, the page requested, referring page, browser and operating system. This is necessary to deliver the site and to defend against attacks. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in a site that works and is secure. These logs are kept for a short period by the provider and are not combined with other data.

Netlify is operated by Netlify, Inc., 44 Montgomery Street, Suite 300, San Francisco, CA 94104, USA. Data may therefore be processed outside the EU. We have a data processing agreement with Netlify that includes the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. You can read Netlify's own privacy notice at netlify.com/privacy.

The enquiry form

If you use "Request an offer" under a calculator, we receive:

• your name, email address and phone number,
• your message, if you write one,
• which calculator you used and the result you had on screen,
• the time of the submission.

We use this only to answer your enquiry and to prepare the offer you asked for. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. The separate tick box asking whether we may call you is a consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw it at any time by writing to info@arfinanz.de; withdrawing does not affect anything done before.

The form is handled by Netlify Forms and the content reaches us by email. If your enquiry does not lead to a business relationship, we delete it after six months. If it does, statutory retention periods under German commercial and tax law apply, generally six or ten years.

Fonts

The typeface used on this site is served from our own server. No connection is made to Google Fonts or any other font service, and no data reaches a third party when you load a page.

Links to other sites

Booking a call opens Microsoft Bookings, and some links lead to our German site or to our social media profiles. Once you follow such a link, the privacy notice of that provider applies, not this one.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us for access to the data we hold about you (Art. 15), correction (Art. 16), deletion (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), and a copy in a portable format (Art. 20). You can object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21). Write to info@arfinanz.de and we will answer.

You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. For us that is the Unabhängiges Landeszentrum für Datenschutz Schleswig-Holstein, Holstenstraße 98, 24103 Kiel, Germany.

Changes

If the site changes, this notice changes with it. The date at the top tells you which version you are reading.
